Salman Khan's 'Radhe' is not the only film with poor IMDb rating, most of the films fail on the audience's test

Due to the closure of cinema halls, even stars adorned with films are now opting for OTT platforms. From March 2020 till now, many such films have come on Netflix Amazon Prime Disney Plus Hotstar, or Zee5 which were to be released in theaters.

The havoc of the coronavirus pandemic started in India from the month of March of the year 2020, which continues till now this year. In 2021, its form became even more formidable.

Cinema is one of the businesses that have been affected the most due to this pandemic. However, OTT platforms got a lot of opportunities to flourish during this period.

It is enough to understand the growing importance of digital platforms that almost every big Bollywood star has landed here in the last year.

Due to the closure of cinema halls, even stars adorned with films are now opting for OTT platforms. Since March 2020, many such films have come on Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus Hotstar, or Zee5, which were to be released in theaters and this trend continues.

However, there is a debate about the quality of films released on digital platforms, and the reason for this debate is the ratings these films get online.

The IMDb rating of Salman Khan's Radhe - Your Most Wanted Bhai, which recently released on Zee5-Zeeplex, has been in the news. The film has got a rating of 1.8 based on over 1.5 lakh votes.

However, Salman's fans also claim that there may be a sponsored campaign behind this rating. However, Radhe is not the only film that has got poor ratings on the IMDb website. If we look at the ratings of some popular films released in the last year, then the picture becomes something like this.

Movies rated less than 3:

Directed by Mahesh Bhatt, starring Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, and Aditya Roy Kapur, Sadak 2, which airs on Disney Plus Hotstar VIP, was rated 1.1 on the basis of over 67,000 votes.

Akshay Kumar's Laxmi released on the same platform is rated only 2.4 on the basis of over 48,000 votes. At the same time, Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan's masala entertainer Coolie No. 1 which came on Amazon Prime Video got 2.9 ratings based on more than 55 thousand votes.

Movies with ratings below 3-5:

Films rated above 3 and less than 5 also included Arjun Kapoor's Sardar Ka Grandson, which hit Netflix a few days back. This movie got 4 ratings based on more than 2.5 thousand votes.

At the same time, Parineeti Chopra's The Girl on the Train, which released on Netflix in February this year, has got a rating of 4.4 based on more than seven thousand votes.

Movies rated 5-6:

Bobby Deol's Class of 83, which came out last year on Netflix itself, has been rated 5.8 on the basis of more than 5 thousand votes.

Movies rated more than 7:

At the same time, Abhishek's Ludo has got a rating of 7.6 on the basis of more than 31 thousand votes. This multi-starrer film came on Netflix last year. Let me tell you here, only the digital debut films of all these stars have been included in this list.
