The Family man 2: Samantha Akkineni dedicates her character of 'Raazi' to the Tamil struggle

Samantha Akkineni, who gave a stellar performance in 'The Family Man 2', has thanked her fans. On Friday, writing a long post on her Instagram account, Samantha spoke her heart.

The actress told that when she was approached by the show's makers Raj and DK for the role of Raji in the series, it was very challenging for her. He needed sensibility and balance to do justice to this role.

For this, the creative team sent him many videos from the Tamil struggle. It also had the story of those women who were involved in the knowledge war.

Samantha became emotional after watching the video of Ilm War:

She further said that when I saw all these videos, I was shocked to see how much torture people have done in Ilm War and that too for a long time.

I was surprised to see that there were only a few thousand views on those videos when more than 10 thousand people lost their lives in this Tamil conflict. Millions of people were left homeless and unemployed. The exiled people are still living in the pain of being separated from their soil.

Appeal to the people for peace:

Extending her point, Samantha wrote, 'My character of Raazi in The Family Man 2 is a tribute to all those who lost their lives in this fight and also those who are living with the memories of the painful struggle.

I was very careful while playing the character of Raazi. In the series, Raazi reminds us that in today's era, we should forget hatred, greed, and violence and bring humanity forward. And if we do not succeed in doing so, then probably countless people will again lose their rights, their identity, and freedom.
