The latest beta version shows three options to set the upload compression of the video you are sending – Auto”, “Best quality” and “Data saver”.


Android users will get three options before sending the video:


The 'Auto' option will send the video in a compressed file format only if the phone has a slow data connection. The "Data Saver" option is for users who want to send videos to other users, but in the process will end up losing all their monthly data. 


Users will have to wait for "Best Quality". Through which users can directly send any video from the gallery in file format without reducing their quality. However, this process may take a little more time.


When will this feature be available on iOS?


There is no official information about when this feature is going to be rolled out in the stable version of WhatsApp. Since it is currently present in the beta version of WhatsApp, the company is working on it, and it can be launched for all users soon. There is no information about the rollout or testing of this feature on iOS yet.
