A COVID-19 vaccination certificate is a must if you are planning to travel abroad or within the country. As of now, to download the COVID-19 Vaccine Certificate, you have two options - either visit the CoWIN portal or download the Aarogya Setu App.
The Government of India has now collaborated with WhatsApp to make it even easier for everyone to download their COVID Vaccine Certificate.
You can now download the MyGov Corona Helpdesk WhatsApp chatbot, which was announced by the Indian government early last year when the coronavirus pandemic hit the country.

All you have to do is follow these simple steps on how to download the COVID-19 Vaccine Certificate through WhatsApp.
How to Download COVID-19 Vaccine Certificate via WhatsApp:
• Save the MyGov Corona Helpdesk WhatsApp number on your smartphone. Phone number is: +91 9013151515
• Once the phone number is stored, open the WhatsApp app
• Search the contact in the chat list
• Open Chat
• Type download certificate in the space provided
• The WhatsApp chatbot will then send a six-digit OTP to your registered mobile number
• Check OTP and enter it
• The chatbot will send your COVID-19 vaccine certificate to your WhatsApp and you can download the vaccine certificate.
Note: If the chatbot server shows an error, you can simply visit the official CoWIN portal or install Aarogya Setu to download the COVID vaccine certificate.
