Virat Kohli Poor Toss Records: Teams of India and England (India vs England) are playing the second test match at Lord's. Indian captain Virat Kohli has once again lost the toss here.  


Earlier in the first match of the series also, he had lost the toss in the Nottingham Test. Virat Kohli's record in the matter of toss is very bad. 


Virat, who is captaining in his 63rd Test, has now lost the toss a total of 36 times, while he has won the toss 27 times.


This was the third Test match of Virat Kohli this season on the England tour. Before the two Test matches of this series, he played the final (IND vs NZ WTC Final 2021) of the World Championship here, in which India faced New Zealand. The Indian captain has so far lost all three tosses here.

In England, Indian captain Virat Kohli has not won any toss in any Test match till date. He is commanding the Indian team here since 2018. But he has not won any toss here so far. This Test match being played at Lord's is the 8th toss of Virat as captain and he has lost in all the toss.


If we look at Virat Kohli's record in the last 11 Test matches between India and England, then this record of Virat Kohli is not encouraging. 


Virat Kohli has faced the toss 11 times against England since 2018 and he has won the toss only once. That is, he is trailing here from 1-10.


After losing the toss in the Nottingham Test, Virat had left behind former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni's record of losing the toss. 


Dhoni (MS Dhoni Toss Records) had faced defeat in the toss 34 times in Test cricket. Virat lost the toss for the 35th time in Nottingham and after losing at Lord's, his figure has now become 36.

 

Talking about Virat Kohli winning the toss in all three formats, he has so far been a part of the toss in a total of 203 matches, in which he has won 85 toss, while he has lost 118 times. 


Comparing him with all the captains of India in terms of winning percentage, Virat's toss winning percentage is 0.72, in which he is behind.
