Tokyo Olympics 2020: Tokyo recorded the highest number of corona virus infection cases for the last six months on Thursday, raising concerns about the worsening of the infection situation during the Olympic Games.

On Thursday, 1,979 new cases were reported, which is the highest number of cases after 2,044 on January 15. These figures have definitely raised the concerns of the organizers, but there is no need to worry too much.

Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga imposed a corona emergency in Tokyo on 12 July until 22 August, but despite this, daily cases have increased rapidly since then.

Since the start of the Covid-19 epidemic in Japan, about 8,53,000 cases have been reported and 15,100 people have lost their lives. However, the good thing is that a small number of corona cases have been reported in the sports village built for the Tokyo Olympics. In such a situation, there will be no impact on the Olympic Games.
