The servers of Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram suddenly went down in many countries around the world. People had to face a lot of trouble due to this technical fault which came around 9 pm on Monday night. 

Due to the internet shutdown, the work in many companies came to a standstill. So there on social media #WhatsAppDown and #FacebookDown started trending. Some people were also seen trolling Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg on Twitter.

'Sorry, something went wrong':

WhatsApp and Instagram are owned by Facebook and work on shared infrastructure. Facebook released a message on its website saying, 

'Sorry, something has gone wrong. We are working on it, and we will fix it as soon as possible. 

While issuing a statement, WhatsApp said, 'We know that some people are having trouble running WhatsApp at this time. Our team is working to fix this technical fault. A new update will be given to you soon.

Facebook Closed On Prime Time:

In India, 9 pm is called prime time because it is the time when most people spend their time on TV or social media sites.

A user said on Twitter that the server of Famous Social Networking at 9 o'clock is not worth it. At the same time, the website downdetector.com, which tracks web services, also reported a sharp increase in user complaints. 

After the downing of social sites, people are also facing problems on Facebook and WhatsApp Messenger and no one is able to message anyone. In such a situation, people are resorting to Telegram or are communicating for mail.

After the major global outage, Facebook's communications executive Andy Stone said, "We know that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products. 

We are working to get things back to normal as soon as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.' 

According to Downdetector, a website that tracks WhatsApp outages, 40 percent of users had problems downloading the app, 30 percent had problems sending messages and 22 percent had problems with the web version. 

There Are So Many Users In India:

The company did not say what is the reason for this problem. It is normal to have problems in websites and apps, but it is surprising to happen on a global scale.
